Does anyone really know what channel number that show is on?  25 or 624?  Does that come
in Hi-def (HD), and if so, what channel number is that?  Do I get that channel (have 
I subscribed to it)?  Which "ESPN" or "HBO" channel variant is that on?  Who can remember 
all that, especially for many 100s of channels and shows.

Channel 88™ is "Your Best TV Channel Finder".  Use Channel 88 to search for a TV channel 
(ESPN, HBO, NBC, A&E, USA, Spike) or show (Jay Leno, CSI, Go On, Revenge, The Voice) on your 
full-screen, full-keyboard PC.

Channel 88's text search is much faster than the tedious, multi-operation, no-keyboard search 
you can do on your TV set-top box.  Once "Channel 88" has found the station name and channel 
number, then use your TV remote to change to that channel.  Use your cable/sat TV's "Guide" 
to find real-time programming info (times, episodes, etc.).  Channel 88 gives you the place 
(channel number) to look for that info.

Channel 88 provides both the standard-def (SD) and high-def (HD) channel numbers (if any), 
plus all of its affiliated channels (e.g., ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN News, ESPN Classic, ABC), 
along with checkboxes to keep track of which channels you get (are subscribed to).

DEMO version:  limited to first 100 shows only, with sample, not actual, channel numbers.

FULL version:  comes with a set of separate Channel number data files for each TV service 
provider (currently Time Warner, DirecTV, Verizon FiOS, Dish), plus a single data file for 
over 700 shows.

(Note that even if you do not use any of these 4 providers, the app is still quite useful for
